Senior Vice President – Chief Information OfficerRoles & Responsibilities:
Miguel is responsible for developing and executing on the Group’s IT strategy to deliver technology solutions that support strategic imperatives and business objectives focusing on digital transformation and modernization. Additionally, he supports our CISO team to strengthen our information security standards and cybersecurity protocols.
Career:
Miguel was the Chief Information Officer for Kemper Life & Health, a division of the $8 billion Kemper Corporation (NYSE: KMPR). In this capacity, he was responsible for the development and execution of business transformation strategies. Prior to that, Miguel served as the Vice President of Strategy & Operations, focused on Allstate’s Independent Agency Operations and overall Heartland growth initiatives as well as senior Vice President at Cover-All Technologies, Inc. (now Majesco), a provider of commercial insurance platforms, and technology director at Willis North America (now Willis Towers Watson).

Miguel is a 2018 Fellow of Leadership Greater Chicago, a member of the Senior Leadership Council for the Chicago chapter of ALPFA (Association of Latino Professionals for America), and was recognized in 2019 as Chicago United Business Leader of Color.
Education:
Miguel earned a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the Metropolitan College of New York, and an MBA from Rider University.
