As Senior Vice-President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary Jose is responsible for managing all of Pan-American Life’s legal, compliance, regulatory and corporate governance activities.
Career:
Jose has over 15 years of legal, compliance, regulatory and corporate governance experience. He joined PALIG in 2008 as Associate General Counsel and was promoted to Deputy General Counsel in 2018. He previously served as Associate Counsel for Peoples Health.
Boards & Industry Associations:
Jose is a member of the American Bar Association and the American Health Lawyers Association and Hispanic Lawyers Association. He is on the Board of Directors of the Louisiana chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel.
Education:
Jose earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Puerto Rico and earned his J.D. from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico School of Law.
