We are mindful of the level of concern that you might have with regards to the Coronavirus COVID-19. As our Business Partner, it is important for us to inform you that at the present time PALIG and its affiliates confirm coverage for the treatment of Coronavirus disease, as this has not been declared an epidemic by the correspondent authority of the insured’s territory of residence.
This means that we are currently providing and will continue to provide health coverage based on the policy terms and conditions.
Additionally, Pan-American can assure you and your clients that all of our life policies do not have a Pandemic exclusion. In addition, until further notice we will extend our premium payment grace period by 30 days.
Pan-American Life has implemented our business continuity plan. Our office remains closed due to governmental ordinance; however, our client/customer service department remains open and can be reached by email and phone.
For team members whose work requires physical presence in our office, we are taking additional steps to help protect their well-being. Our goal is to make this change as transparent as possible to you.
Please note that we have implemented underwriting considerations related to the virus. We will require an additional COVID-19 form that will be required with all new business submissions.
