Pan-American Life Insurance Group Strengthens Commitment to Miami

Pan-American Life Insurance Group (PALIG), a leading provider of insurance and financial services throughout the Americas, has renewed the lease on the company’s Alhambra Plaza office space. The new agreement extends to 2027.

“Miami is a vital strategic location in Pan-American Life’s footprint precisely because it is a major hub for the international financial sector,” said José S. Suquet, Chairman of the Board, President and CEO of Pan-American Life Insurance Group. “The lease renewal is both a reflection of our commitment to our international business and a statement of intent that we are in Miami for the long-term.”

Pan-American Life first opened its office in Miami in 2011 to serve as the base for Pan-American Private Client, a portfolio of life and international major medical products. “Private Client Life, as well as Private Client – International Major Medical are designed to provide best-in-class insurance benefits to high net worth individuals and business owners,” explained Bruce Parker, President – International Life Business. “Miami was the ideal location for us to develop these lines of business and they have both had a tremendously positive impact on the overall growth of our Group.”

Since establishing its presence in the city more than five years ago, Pan-American Life has been an active corporate citizen in the South Florida community, notably working with United Way as an extension of PALIG’s partnership with the organization throughout the Americas.
