Ingredients

  • 6 Pear
  • 240 milliliter Red wine
  • teaspoon Spices, pepper, black
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 4 gram Artificial sweetener powder
  • 2 tablespoon Basil in powder
  • 1 teaspoon Orange peel

Preparation

  1. Peel and take core off all pears.
  2. In a small saucepan, combine all ingredients. Place the saucepan over the stove on medium heat. Wait until it reaches a boil, reduce heat immediately, allowing the liquids to simmer.
  3. Continue cooking the pears until they are soft, approximately 1 to 1 ½ hours. Remove from heat and allow the pears to cool down.
  4. Take the pears off the liquid and keeping liquid in the pan, and bring simmer. Reduce the liquid until thickened. Strain.
  5. Serve the pears covering with the reduced liquid.
