Pan‑American Life Welcomes Leopoldo Báez as New Country Manager of Ecuador

Quito, Ecuador, May 30, 2024.‑ Pan‑American Life, a leading Life, Health and Accident insurance provider with 68 years of presence in Ecuador, formally announced the incorporation of Leopoldo Báez as the new Country Manager and Legal Representative of its operations in Ecuador.
Leopoldo has begun his new responsibilities as Country Manager, effective May 20th, 2024. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and International Business from Georgetown‑Washington University and a Master's degree in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science in London.
With a career of more than 15 years of experience in the insurance market, Leopoldo has served in different executive positions in insurance companies, adding to his management responsibilities of leadership, strategic planning, operations and commercial relations, his last role being that of Country Manager at BUPA‑Ecuador, for more than 10 years; and prior to this position, he stood out as Sales Manager at Humana‑Ecuador.
