OAK BROOK, IL. — Pan‑American Life Insurance Group (PALIG), a leading provider of life, accident and health insurance throughout the Americas, today announced the opening of its new office in Oak Brook, Illinois, underscoring the company’s continued investment in its people, workplace experience, and long‑term growth.
Located within Commerce Plaza at 2015 Spring Road, the office officially opened on June 24 with a ribbon‑cutting by company leaders, and serves as a collaborative hub for colleagues, business partners, and visitors in the Chicagoland area. Following the sale of its previous Oak Brook facility, PALIG signed a long‑term and invested approximately $2 million in the buildout and furnishing of the new office.
“Our new Oak Brook office represents more than a change in location. It reflects our commitment to the future of our business and our people,” said Luke Cosme, Senior Vice President, U.S. Life Sales, Marketing, and Operations. “We wanted to create a space that brings colleagues together, supports meaningful collaboration, and provides a welcoming and modern environment for employees and business partners alike.”
More than 100 teammates work from this location, either permanently or on a flexible basis, with hybrid work being a key driver of the company’s success. “This new workspace offers the flexibility and technology that employees need to work effectively, whether they are on‑site every day or collaborating in the office periodically.” explained Cosme. “We have a strong base of sales and operational teams supporting the Pan‑American Life and Pan‑American Accident & Health U.S. operations, as well as colleagues involved in global projects, and we welcome the opportunity to host our distribution partners in our new space.”
Beyond collaboration and flexibility, sustainability was a key consideration in the design of the new office. Through PALIGreen initiatives and thoughtful workplace planning, PALIG created a workspace that supports environmental responsibility while enhancing the employee experience.
Sustainability features include centralized waste and recycling stations, a 50% reduction in the copier fleet, bottle‑filling stations, and energy‑efficient technology, including upgraded computer equipment and occupancy‑based LED lighting. "Every aspect of the new office was designed to enhance the employee experience while advancing our sustainability goals," said Ginger Guidry, 2nd Vice President of Administration and Facilities. "From energy‑efficient systems and reduced paper consumption to expanded recycling efforts, this workspace reflects our commitment to responsible stewardship of our resources."
The new Oak Brook office reflects the company's ongoing commitment to its people, policyholders, distribution partners, and communities served. Designed to support collaboration, innovation, and business growth, the space provides a welcoming environment where colleagues and partners can connect and succeed together for years to come.
