Pan‑American Life Insurance Group Appoints Michael Lucas as General Manager of its Barbados and Eastern Caribbean Islands Operations

Bridgetown, Barbados – July 12, 2021 – Pan‑American Life Insurance Group (PALIG), a leading provider of life, accident, and health insurance throughout the Americas, has appointed Michael Lucas as General Manager of its Barbados and Eastern Caribbean Islands operations.
Mr. Lucas joins PALIG with more than 20 years of successful industry and management experience. His responsibilities will include business development and growth, field force management, and financial performance for these markets.

Mr. Lucas previously served as Manager ‑ Customer Service at Sagicor Life Insurance Company, Manager ‑ Insurance Operations at Resolution Life Insurance Company, and Partner and Managing Director of Lashley Financial Solutions. As an independent management consultant, he guided companies to greater financial and operational growth.
A graduate of Queens College, he holds certification from UWI and BIMAP and has attained the ALMI, FFSI and ACS designations from the Life Office Management Association.
