New Orleans, LA – October 23, 2025 ‑ Pan‑American Life Insurance Group (PALIG) announced today the promotion of Mark Creighton from Regional Vice President of the South Region to Vice President, Distribution, for Pan‑American Life (U.S. life). In his new position, Mark will lead distribution and sales strategies to support agencies and agents in delivering our products to end customers.
“Mark’s deep understanding of our distribution network and proven leadership make him a natural fit for the new role,” said Luke Cosme, Senior Vice President of U.S. Life Sales, Marketing, and Operations. “As we look to grow our U.S. presence, I am confident in his ability to elevate our service to agents and customers alike, driving deeper connections across the independent U.S. life business.”
Mark began his professional journey at Pan‑American Life (formerly Mutual Trust Life Solutions) in 2004 as a Sales Development Representative and subsequently advanced through several sales roles of increasing responsibility. Prior to Pan‑American Life, he was employed by First Penn‑Pacific Life Insurance Company (A Lincoln Financial Group Company), first managing the compensation team and later moving into sales. Mark holds FLMI (Fellow, Life Management Institute), ACS (Associate, Customer Service), and AIAA (Associate, Insurance Agency Administration) designations.
The Regional Vice President role for the South Region will be filled by Joshua Stanfield, who is being promoted from his position as Manager, Sales Development. Joshua began his career at Pan‑American Life in 2011 and has worked in several roles in the organization. He earned a B.S. in Business Administration – Marketing from Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, IL and holds ACS (Associate, Customer Service) and ALMI (Associate, Life Management Institute) designations.
Mark will continue to report to Luke Cosme, Senior Vice President of U.S. Life Sales, Marketing, and Operations. Reporting to Mark will be the Pan‑American Life Regional Vice Presidents and Sales Directors.
