Pan-American Life Names María Teresa Bolaños As Country Manager for El Salvador

Pan-American Life Insurance Group (PALIG), a leading provider of insurance and financial services throughout the Americas, announced this morning that María Teresa Bolaños is assuming the role of Country Manager for Pan-American Life Insurance Company, El Salvador Branch. Ernesto Henriquez, who has served in that capacity for the last four years, goes on to oversee all of Pan-American Life’s international employee benefits business.

A native of El Salvador, Bolaños has been with Pan-American Life for nearly twenty years, most recently serving as Operations Manager and Legal Representative. In that capacity, she was responsible for compliance, service standards related to claims, underwriting, as well as local provider networks. Prior to that, she served as Manager – Finance and Administration.

Mrs. Bolaños holds a Master of Science degree in Risk Management and Insurance from Florida State University, as well as a license in Business Administration with a minor in Marketing from the Universidad Centroamericana Jose Simeon Cañas in San Salvador.
